JMI Planning worked to help Frites 33 secure planning permission to convert a former town centre unit to work a niche restaurant which specialises in Belgium style fries.
Frites 33 who already have a restaurant in Nottingham were hoping to secure a unit in the heart of Derby City. We helped to navigate the planning process from concept through to permission, including presenting to City Councillors at planning committee. We helped to overcome concerns from the Council regarding the loss of a former retail unit. We demonstrated that the proposal would be an attractive asset to the high street and help to generate footfall in the local area which would aid the vitality of the high street.
The restaurant is now open and operating successfully.
