JMI Planning have secured outline planning permission for the erection of a detached dwelling on land at Tatenhill Common. Utilising a policy within the Tatenhill and Rangemore Neighbourhood Plan that allows for the erection of ‘approximately two dwellings’ in Tatenhill Common on brownfield land, JMI were able to successfully argue that the application site, which has an extant planning permission for the formation of hardstanding, met the necessary policy requirements.
The granting of planning permission in rural areas is usually strictly controlled by countryside protection policies, making this permission very valuable to the landowner.
We now look forward to working with the applicant to secure reserved matters approval for their new home.
