As part of the continued evolution of Branston Golf & Course Country Club, JMI Planning supported proposals for a new luxury lodge development, helping to facilitate the expansion of one of Staffordshire’s premier leisure destinations.
Acting on behalf of the client, JMI prepared and coordinated the strategy, providing a comprehensive assessment of the proposal against local and national policy. The statement demonstrated how the development would support rural tourism, strengthen the long-term viability of the leisure business and contribute to the local visitor economy, whilst remaining sympathetic to the character of the surrounding landscape
JMI also undertook detailed analysis of site-specific planning considerations, including landscape and biodiversity impacts, design, accessibility, transport implications and the relationship of the lodges to the golf and leisure facilities. he project demonstrates JMI’s expertise in leisure, tourism and rural development projects, helping clients unlock opportunities for sustainable growth.
